Google Adsense Dashboard Layout Changes on October 18th, 2016

For the first time in years, the Google Adsense desktop dashboard has changed. On Tuesday, October 18th, 2016 the dashboard updated for most users. Now, the dashboard has cards, similar to the Android operating system on a smartphone. You can move cards around and drop them in different places to get the data you desire from your Adsense desktop dashboard. In my opinion, it is much better.

The cards that are available are as follows:

  • Performance
  • Sites
  • Custom Channels
  • Countries
  • Ad Units
  • Bid Types
  • Platforms

You can drag and drop as well as pin cards throughout the interface. This is much more visually pleasing than the old interface which was clunky and confusing.

Note that the Google Adsense App has yet to change. It will likely be the case that the Adsense app will be updated for iPhone and Android in the next few days. That said, there isn’t too much Google can do to update the app version of Adsense.

Now that you can customize your Google Adsense dashboard on desktop, will you use it more often? Is the Adsense dashboard something you look at on a daily or weekly basis? What is the best “card” that you have used since the newest update?
