Lore, Season 1, drops on Amazon on Friday, October 13th, 2017. This is going to be a very big day for streaming TV shows as Mindhunter for Netflix comes out on that particular day as well. It will be interesting to see if Lore catches on as there is a cult following that listens to the Podcast every single week. One would imagine that the podcast listeners would be very excited about the first season. If the first season is watched by millions, one would imagine Amazon will quickly renew the show for a season 2.
So, if there is a season 2 that comes out in mid to late 2018, will you binge watch it all in one sitting? Was season 1 good enough to make you want a season 2 in the early part of 2017? What were the best parts of season 1? How could Amazon make the show better?
For those that want to know more about the show, this is what Amazon has published as their summary: “From an Executive Producer of The Walking Dead and an Executive Producer of The X-Files, this anthology series brings to life Aaron Mahnke’s “Lore” podcast and uncovers the real-life events that spawned our darkest nightmares. Blending dramatic scenes, animation, archive and narration, Lore reveals how our horror legends – such as vampires, werewolves and body snatchers – are rooted in truth.”
