Why Aren’t the Sky Filters Working on my Android or iPhone?

On Tuesday, September 26th, 2017 Snapchat released a number of new features with their update. One of the most popular features will be the sky filters in which users will be able to swipe to change the sky to night time, a rainbow, stars and sunset effects. Unfortunately, these filters are not going to work on all models of the iPhone and Android. If you have an older model iPhone, an iPod or iPad you might find that the sky filters do not work.

The same is try for many model Android phones. If you have a phone running an old Android operating system, there is a good chance this update will not give you the sky filters. Please comment below with the model Android phone you have so other users will know if it is their phone or something glitching or messing up with the Snapchat Update.

One would imagine many of the older Galaxy S models and HTC models would not have the Snapchat sky filters. Here are the phones that have had issues with the Snpachat Map:

HTC 626
Samsung Note 2
LG G3
Samsung galaxy S4 mini
Lg g2
Samsung Galaxy S3
Samsung Galaxy S5
Samsung Galaxy Mega 2
Samsung Galaxy S6
Huawei G7
Motorola DroidMAXX
Blu Studio XL
Samsung Duos
Samsung Note 3
Samsung Galaxy Grand 2
Alcatel Onetouch
LG G Flex
Samsung Galaxy tab 3
Samsung Galaxy Mega
Samsung Galaxy S Core Prime

Comment below and let us know what phone you have and if it does not have the Snapchat sky filters.

iPhone 7 Plus running iOS 11… up to date and not working.. I’ve deleted the app, reinstalled it, and restarted the phone… still no hope.
