In the past eight years I have published well over 45,000 blog posts and articles on the Internet. It did not take long for me to figure out that content was, and always will be, king. The more words you have on a page, the more your website will show up in the Google Search results for long tail keywords. That said, is it possible to have too much content which could harm SEO? In my professional opinion there is no such thing as too much content. If you are one of those people that can create quality content on a daily basis you should be able to print cash with your website or online presence.
By putting pen to paper and publishing blog posts and articles on your website you are increasing the visibility of you and/or your business. Over 90% of my leads come directly from Google Search as I receive over 500,000 searches every single month. It is safe to say that my website is the only lead generator I need. I spend no time on social media or cold calling. The way I did this was to write thousands of great articles which helped to build a natural link portfolio.
If you are willing to spend time writing thousands of quality articles the links are naturally going to happen. Unfortunately, a large number of businesses, bloggers and journalists give up after writing 100 or 200 articles. My first 100 articles only generated about 250 total Google searches in a month. As I continued to publish articles the number of searches started to increase exponentially. Today, with about 2000 published articles on my website I am receiving just over 500,000 searches a month. On a good month I receive close to 750,000 searches.
The only way I was able to do this was to create thousands of great articles. Is every article perfect? No way. Are there grammatical errors and mistakes? Yes. That being said, I spend the majority of my content writing getting thoughts on a page. If you spend time worrying about social media, sharing on Facebook and every single grammatical error your website is never going to generate a significant amount of traffic.
If you are a business professional such as a personal injury lawyer, orthodontist or mortgage broker and you do not have the time to write content for your business website feel free to reach out to me at email@example.com. I have a team of SEO copywriters that can publish as much content as you desire. There is no such thing as too much content if your content is quality.
Something I would like to add is the idea of being first. If you are the first to publish articles on a specific topic you are going to rank well in search. Pick a topic you know well and has very little literature online and start typing away. Before you know it you will be outranking some of the biggest names in your industry. There are a number of great strategies to use to come up with several blog posts or articles every single day. If you need help brainstorming ideas in your niche or industry do not hesitate to reach out to me at any time. I love the challenge of coming up with new and unique content.
