Venmo is a unique new social media app that combines being able to send and receive money with a social media component. While being convenient, this does pose a problem for many users due to privacy. Although you cannot see the amounts users send and receive, you can see who sent who funds, and what caption they put with that transaction. There is however a way to fix this within the apps privacy settings. Making it so that only the user and their recipient can view the exchange. Listed here are the six steps explaining how to do so.
Set up your Venmo account and go to the home page
Go to settings in the upper left corner
Tap settings option
Go to “Privacy and Sharing” in the app settings
Tap on the audience tab
Select who can view your affairs based on these three options
