What is the Question Mark with a Box Coming Up for I on iPhone and Snapchat?

Over the last few days, millions of iPhone users are seeing the question mark with a box coming up when they type the letter I. This is also happening on Snapchat when texting another person. In essence, iOS is suggesting users change I to an exclamation point and a question mark with a box around it rather than the letter I.

Here is what it looks like:

Have you had this problem? What version of iOS are you running? What iPhone are you using? It shit only on Snapchat or on text as well? What about Facebook and Messenger? Instagram?

I believe you’ve made a typing error. When you say “Have you had this problem? What version of iOS are you using?” After that I believe you meant to type “Is it” instead of “It sh*t.”

🙂

Iphone 5s up to date on everything it seams to be a problem with autocorrect turn it off and the letter I will work. For some reason iphones have become unreliable at trying to find out what you have to say. Just go in to general go to keyboard turn off autocorrect. If this fixes your problem witch it has fixed mine but my spelling had suffered. But to everyone with this problem i hope i helped if not i am sorry good luck and have an amazing day fokes

Turning off auto correct didn’t fix. I️ updated my phone to the new iOS update. It immediately fixed this problem.
