A WSJ video put it best. Snapchat is for the moments in between the Instagrams. The ephemeral nature of the app makes it so photos do not have to be perfect. They are not saved and the longest they can be viewed is 24 hours. Anyone over the age of 25 is going to start using Snapchat more and more over the next few years. I truly believe it is going to compete with TV for ad dollars. Why wouldn’t a large brand or company want to get in front of 40 million eyeballs?
