Anyone that has used Snapchat over the past few years has likely sent a Snap that was never opened. After sending a snap picture or text and checking it over the next few hours or days we are left wondering, “did he/she delete the app from their iPhone or Android?” At this point, there is no way to know other than contacting that person and asking them if they still have Snapchat. This can be difficult if you don’t have a way to contact them other than Snapchat.
In the last six months more and more Snapchat users are finding each other on the Internet somewhere. Some look up QR codes on Google Images while others scour Instagram and Twitter for Snapchat names. Once adding a user to Snapchat you may build a relationship. It may even morph into a very serious relationship in which you think you could become boyfriend and girlfriend. If they suddenly disappear and they are no longer looking at your private snaps you may wonder if they are ok or if something happened.
Did you say something? Did they get a boyfriend or girlfriend? Did they block you? Is it possible that they deleted the app off their phone? Could they simply just not look at Snapchat anymore? These are all questions that have gone through the minds of middle school, high school and college students. If you want to know if someone deleted the Snapchat app off their phone the best way to know is to check their Snapchat score every few days. If the Snapchat score is not moving up then that particular person is not using Snapchat. If the score is going up, they simply do not want to talk to you or look at your private snaps.
